My best magazine covers for 2014 are here – yay! The year 2014 went in a flash. But not too fast for me to choose my top magazine covers. Here’s a salute to them all and the celebrities who graced these masterpieces. Let’s dig in!
But first and foremost. . .
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!! I’m wishing everyone health, prosperity and goodwill for 2015 and beyond. MUAH! So what a way to start 2015 from a beauty and fashion perspective, right?? Today I will be listing my top 2014 fashion and beauty magazine covers.
Wow oh wow {WOW!}… Did I have so much fun picking (and re-creating) a few of these looks. I even did some SNL’ing — you know, acting out my version of what is actually going on during each of the photo shoots. I’ll be posting those videos soon…not sure if they will be on YouTube or simply on Instagram. So definitely stay tuned because they will be posted to this blog.
If I had known re-creating magazine covers would be this fun I would’ve been doing them years ago. I’ll be taking on Katy Perry, Beyoncé, Kim Kardashian and Serena Williams. There were a few others that I wanted to do as well but I didn’t get a chance – maybe next year?!?!?

First up is this endearing photo of Kim Kardashian eating a cupcake. She’s basically telling us yasssssss I can have my cupcake and eat it too. So here is my version of KimK eating a cupcake!
KERRY WASHINGTON
Next we have this photo of Kerry Washington on the cover of Allure magazine. She has that ‘all natural look’ you know…. like she just woke up like dat. So this is how I really think Kerry Washington wakes up in the morning or should I say Olivia Pope.
KATY PERRY
Next we have this gorgeous, pin up style picture of Katy Perry on the cover of GQ magazine. I adore this picture but I always thought it looked like she was covering her ears. Could this be what Katy Perry was actually thinking?
BEYONCE
Last, but not least, we have Miss Beyoncé. Now this isn’t really a magazine cover but it was a photo that stood out to me in a way — a WTH kinda way. This is how I think that whole thing went down.
