Bernard d’Espagnat, French physicist and philosopher of science famous for his concept of a ‘veiled reality’, died last Saturday, 1 August 2015, at age 93 in Paris. D’Espagnat won the 2009 Templeton Prize. More information on his Wikipedia page. Please let me know if there are obituaries to which I should link.
