Berlin´s Runway

When we talk Berlin, fashion is not exactly the first word to stir up the cortex. However, it does sound creative, casual, laid-back and fun and how I would like to believe, these attributes are so much incomplete unless some bit of style wraps them up.
During my latest visit to this city of historical secrets and terror stories, I tried figuring out the fashion quotient that makes it worth a fashion glance. And there was enough to catch my attention; specially the vintage pop up shops and flea markets. Saying that, let me assure that if you like anything that is old and vintage then this place has loads to offer.
One such place was,´The Lunettes´.

At Lunettes, you will find every vintage eye frame that you ever fancied buying. Hand-picked, these unworn vintage models come from the past decades along with some new designer ones and special Lunettes Kollektion (designed by head, Uta Geyer). You can expect to try on the likes of Yves Saint Laurant, Selecta USA, Christian Roth, Polaroid, Jaguar and many more.

Another of my favorite place was, ´The Happy Shop`, which indeed made me happy. Full of designer wear, the shop with the pink door interestingly reads, `Please Knock!`. Now, isn't that some proof of its exclusivity? The labels´ list is interesting and includes names like Bernhard Wilhelm, Kitsune, Castelbajac, Mina Perhonen, Mykita besides others.

Apart from these, I really liked the vintage shops and galleries like NAME that offer both second-hand and fresh merchandise. Old leather boots and accessories definitely are worth picking at damn cheap prices. Some of the good ones you will find as you walk around the Rosenthal Platz area.

Lastly, it is a city that does leave an impression with its graffiti walls, electronic music, beer, cafes, food and most importantly people who in real believe in living a life full of fun and laughter.
