Bento Lunches with Mon Bento Tresor

By Smilinglikesunshine @smilinglikesuns
We are very fond of bento style lunches here at Smiling like Sunshine HQs. Preparing bento lunches gives me the opportunity to prepare a balanced lunch. My son, Derin, is a picky eater. He will try different foods here and there when I offer him little bits but when he has big portions on his plate, he is turned off. Bento lunches are great for him.
We have been using the adult sized Mon Bento Lunch Boxes for over a year now. They are high quality and very stylish. When Mon Bento approached me about their recent launch,Mon Bento Tresor, kids lunch boxes, I wanted to review them.

These two tier bento boxes come in funky colours.Children can customize their boxes using the tokens that come with the box.

The bottom container holds 450ml, a good size for children's sandwiches or pasta/rice etc. On top, there are two smaller containers in which I put cheese slices, blueberries, dried mangoes, carrot sticks etc.
I have to admit that Derin (5yo) cannot put the box together when he finishes his lunch. It's a bit tricky for a young child, luckily he doesn't lose any of the pieces.

Mon Bento also sell snack boxes for kids. You can  find some printables that you can slip in your child's lunch bag on their website.
Disclosure: We received the lunch box for free for review purposes. All opinion our own.
