Hi ladies! Summer is quickly drawing to an end. Seems like it flashed by for me. With that said…here is the final “What’s What in Beauty and Fashion” for Summer 2013.
Nicki Minajesty
Nicki Minaj to release another fragrance in September – I guess we can expect a new fragrance from her every 6 months. Well, at least that’s what it feels like (overkill!) In the ad Nicki Minaj looks majestical. It definitely displays a softer side to her. My only hangup is how demonic the actual fragrance bottle looks. Would never want to see that on my dresser at night. Definitely will give you nightmares.
Makeup Kiosks in Airports
Benefits Cosmetics will have adorable, pink, retro kiosks in airport terminals. This concept is so convenient. You never know when you will need a little pick-me-up. There was this one time I was rushing to catch a flight and forgot my entire makeup bag. I was devastated! As soon as I landed in Chicago I took a cab to the nearest MAC store. I was tempted to say “And, Step on it!”
KORS Expanding
Be on the lookout for new and exciting items being added to the Michael Kors brand including makeup! Yep. We knew he couldn’t keep his hands out of the cosmetics “cookie jar.” I’m pretty sure skin care will be next. Nonetheless I’m excited to see what flair Michael Kors will bring to makeup world.
Bentley Capsule Bags
I mentioned a couple of months ago (in this podcast) that Bentley, the luxury car maker, was creating a cologne for men. Well, they’re pushing it further — designer handbags. Yep…Bentley capsule handbags will feature the same leather featured in the prestigious Bentley car.
