Tamarind has a raw tangy flavor and it is used in the preparation of many dishes. The tamarind juice has lots of benefits for your hair and health also. It is often used as a flavoring agent. It is rich in carotenes, Vitamin B, Vitamin C, magnesium and potassium.

Body scrub:

Tamarind body scrub is excellent for your skin. To make the scrub, you have to take ¾ cup of tamarind pulp juice and mix it with 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, little baking soda and 2 tablespoons brown sugar. Blend all the ingredients well to get a smooth paste. Exfoliate your skin with a loofah when you take a bath. This will provide you glowing and soft skin.

Antioxidants:

Tamarind juice has a high content of antioxidants and this helps in protecting your body from the harmful actions of the free radicals in the body.

The anti-inflammatory property of tamarind juice makes it very beneficial for treating sore throat. If you suffer from sore throat, gargle with tamarind juice. This will soothe the throat and also reduces the pain. If you have inflammation and pain in the joints, you can apply tamarind juice to get relief.

Blood purifier:

Tamarind face mask and scrub contain Vitamins B and C, acids, minerals and dietary fiber, which act as very effective blood purifiers.
