Photographed during a Society for Aviation History tour, these helicopters at Airmotive Specialty demonstrate that ASI also performs rotary wing maintenance services. Walking around a crowded hangar was a good test of my new 10-17mm lens. The JetRanger II first flew in 1971 and more than 7,300 examples of the JetRanger family have been produced. This piston powered Raven has been in production since 1993 and holds the piston speed record of 227 km/h. Nikon D7100 w/Tokina 10-17mm, processing with Aperture and Aurora HDR.
