As a fan of the Lotus Speculoos biscuit spread (review HERE) I couldn't resist trying out this Belgian Biscuit Butter which is available from madeinbelgium.co.uk. It comes in both smooth and crunchy varieties, but I decided to go for the smooth version.
This Biscuit Butter has the delicious caramelised creaminess and hints of cinnamon flavor that you would expect from a speculoos paste. The flavor is different from the Lotus Speculoos spread, I found it to have a slightly lighter taste and texture overall, making it less dense and a bit creamier. It's an absolutely lovely speculoos taste and I have to admit that this jar did not last very long at all!
