Is that any way to start the day of thankfulness? I dare say not. It took me a while, but I have since warmed up and had my coffee.
I have so much for which to be thankful: a loving family, awesome friends, food to keep my family going, a house to keep us warm, and a modest income to pay the bills to keep the gas, water, and electric on.
But what about the intangible things? Everything I mention is a material good. I'd have to add a few intangibles to truly show my thanks: love, generosity, kindness, life, trials, challenges, time, and faith. Without those, life would be incomplete.
I hope you have everything you could have ever wished for in life on this Thanksgiving morn. And if you don't, I hope you know that you can be thankful for the life and time you have to pursue those things that will make you truly happy and content.
Happy Thanksgiving!
