ZTE officially unveiled their latest and game-changing flagship smartphone, ZTE Grand S at CES 2013. It comes dubbed as “the world’s thinnest full HD smartphone”. Yes, the design is definitely super-slim as it stands at only 6.9-millimeter thick. And, it also has a powerful 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 processor and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
In addition to the powerful processor, ZTE Grand S features a giant 5-inch HD display with 1920 x 1080 resolution. This actually makes it look more like a phablet than a smartphone. 13-megapixel auto-focus camera, 2GB of RAM and 16GB built-in storage only makes it look even better.
According to Engadget, ZTE has reduced the capacity of the battery on this device to 1,780mAh to make the Grand S super thin. But, it wont be a problem for everyday use of the device.
Release date and pricing of ZTE Grand S remains as a mystery at this point. Soon more details will be revealed. In the meantime check out Phandroid‘s hands-on video after the break.
