This week has been really hot. I thought there is no progress in the garden except for pruning. I was away for a day and some plants were almost dried up when I got back.
The plant that seems to enjoy the hot temperature is the Japanese rose. I bought a pot few weeks ago and have used its cuttings to multiply the plant. I poked cuttings in any empty soil I see. They root easily and fast!
This Japanese rose is actually more popularly known as common purslane. It is the easiest-to-grow type of portulaca in my opinion.
In the kitchen, my resurrection moss is still turning green. The ends of the fronds are still brown as you can see from the picture below.
Meanwhile, I salvaged the polyscias foliage below from two bridal flower pins. They were placed in some water two weeks ago and are still alive till today!

When their stems grow long, the leaves growing on them seems like butterflies fluttering in a group.
Meanwhile, my radish is growing healthily.
So is my Choy Sam but one leaf seems to be infested by leaf-miner. I cut it off right away after taking the shot below.
The week before was also sunny but not as hot as this week. My Chalice Vine threw out a few blooms at one time.
Glad to see the short vine in bloom :)
