I've been slowly but surely adding to my daughter's room (which seems to be taking way too long.. ). You may remember some of the changes I've made with her bedding and curtains, among others. I have yet to paint her furniture, and the vanity bench we made her just wasn't cutting it. It just wasn't the look I was going for. So, I went hunting for a chair. Here's what I found.
Simple detail, yet sweet enough for a little girls room.
And this fabric HAD to go.
I knew I wanted to paint it first, so I sanded and primed it all up.
And chose a light blue color to match her headboard.
After adding this vintage fabric, which I've been waiting to use forever, it was perfect! 
And she loves it even more. She had to play the part and brush her hair while she posed for me!
Here's the chair with the vanity (which we need to paint). Although I did change the knobs, so that's something, right?
My daughter just loves the kittens on the fabric, and the vintage look is SO cute. Yay! Win-win!
