Plot: A newly married couple moves into their home in the suburbs and are warmly welcomed by their neighbors, one of whom takes a dangerous interest in the husband. While his wife is away, they spend an intimate moment together and then agree to keep their distance. But she inserts herself into every aspect of his life, wreaking havoc on his marriage and job until the final explosive confrontation.

Story: Becky starts when Greg (Young) and Joy (Peters) start a fresh life in the suburbs. They get warmly welcomed by the neighbours, including the overly friendly Becky (Dali). When Joy goes on a business trip, Becky sees it as an opportunity to get closer to Greg. However, Greg doesn’t share the same interest.
Becky doesn’t want to take ‘no’ as an answer and decides to take things into her own hands. It sees her targeting the loved ones and neighbours to do whatever it takes to ruin Greg’s life. But how far will she go to get everything she wants from Greg?
Verdict on Becky
Becky is a thriller following a happily married couple moving into a new neighbourhood. However, what seems like a perfect life, turns into a nightmare when one of the neighbours gets obsessed with Greg and wants to make him hers. She presents a danger to the neighbourhood, but how long till she goes too far?
This is a thriller in a similar vein as ‘Fatal Attraction’ where somebody believes they are more important to someone than they are. It builds a close set of couples in the neighbourhood well, as well as presenting the threat and a seductive attractive woman. However, it does feel like a bit more communication could have stopped things from escalating as much as they did. In the end, this does everything we would expect, without challenging the typical story we are used to seeing.
