Australian singer-songwriter Bec Sandridge has taken a turn for the rock-and-roll with her upcoming EP. Beginning with the instrumental prowess she debuted on her previous folk-influenced releases and suffusing it with a rhythm and vibe reminiscent of The New Pornographers, Sandridge makes an indelible impression. The title track of the EP, “In The Fog, In The Flames”, premiering here today, features Sandridge strumming her guitar along to a driving beat and background synth flairs. Sandridge’s husky vocals are enchanting as she sings “I wonder if you’ll ever make up your mind,” and the song rises to a cathartic, riff-heavy climax that will take your breath away. Listen to song, fall in love and keep an eye out for her EP coming soon!
