The sun may not be out yet but summer is hopefully not too long in the distance. Recently I’ve been working with the fabulous Pixi Beauty to create a look to make me feel a little more Spring Summer like…

Pixi Beauty is well known for its skincare with it’s ever raved about product, the Glow Tonic. But today I am chatting about their makeup line, which they don’t seem to get enough credit for. Their makeup range still has the benefits of their skincare products as they are infused with many different ingredients that are set to add radiance and give you that youthful, healthy look. Designed for the everyday woman who needs a quick fix to fabulous, the products are easy to use and brilliant for throwing in your purse when you are on the go.
I first began with the Glowtion Day Dew (£24) to prep and prime my skin before applying a base. This lightweight cream blends seamlessly into the skin whilst adding radiance, hydration and calming the skin with the infused lavender oil, perfect for no makeup days as a brightening base. Bronzer is always a hands up when it’s summer, because if we can’t get that sun-kissed look for reals, then we can fake it with a bronzer. The Quick Fix Bronzer (£18) does exactly what it says on the tin. Encased in a little dome is a built-in puff that you literally dap on your face to dispense the product – GENIUS! No mess and no brush needed. Have you ever came across a bronzer that has mango juice extract and aloe vera? Well, you have now! This gives a sheer warm glow to the skin that makes you look like you’ve spent a weekend in the sun.
The eyes are really the focus in this look, a minimal eye shadow look with a slight touch of color to add some excitement. Using only two shades from the Mesmerizing Mineral Palette (£15) in the shade ‘Copper Peach’ I managed to get an effortless every-day look. The peachy tones were easy to build and well pigmented, whilst the shimmery hues were super vibrant and blendable - an ideal go-to palette. I then ran the extremely creamy Endless Silk Eye Pen (£12) in Cobalt Blue (a new shade!) in my waterline and boy, does it pack a punch! To finish the eyes, two coats of the Lengthy Fibre Mascara (£16) which proved to be more than enough. The curvature of the wand adds tiny little fibres as well as lashings of color to create instant drama. I think I have found a new favourite…
No look is complete without a lip, and in this case, it’s the Mattelustre Lipstick (£12) in the shade, Peach Blossom. Filled with hyaluronic acids and peptides, the soft matte lipstick helps to plump the lips for a natural, yet full look. This look alone has made me fall in love with Pixi Beauty’s makeup line, of which you can get 15% off online with the code ‘PixiWearisma’, and whilst you're at it, why not sign up to Wearisma too and make some cash?!
Let me know your thoughts on what you envisage as a summer look and what colours you like to incorporate? I never thought a blue water line would suit, but I actually kinda like it! Are you a fan of Pixi Beauty?
