Beauty Sleep or Energy sleep, I still always want it to be beautiful.I used to believe that sleeping is a waste of precious time when I was young.Growing up , learning about the brain, and being a competitive runner , have made me appreciate the beauty of a good night sleep.Sleep is essential to a healthy lifestyle, just as water and food are, the human brain needs sleep in order to function correctly.We need at least 7-9 hours of sleep as adults to have a stable mental and physical health.We need to sleep in order to go around our daily activities without collapsing or stressing ourselves into a serious illness.Quoting one of my neurologist professors"You were never the same person you were after a nap/sleep, it is like going to bed with one brain and waking up with an upgrade"Since all our daily activities depend on the quality of sleep we get, why not make it a beautiful ritual?
I will be sharing my beauty sleep ritual with you all and hope this inspire you to give yourself a little beauty sleep every nightNo matter how tired and exhausted I am after a long day, I love rewarding my body with a thorough pampering.A thorough pampering for me consist of removing all the environmental dirts and makeup from my body.A hot shower will do that for you, if you don't have enough time for a bubble bath and soaking up.After that, moisturising hair and body comes next, and then applying my favorite body mist for a nice scent and relaxation.I am an avid reader, I love reading as a way of relaxation, so my bed is always overflowing with books and magazines.I am currently reading a book on Ashtanga yoga and my Bible before sleeping.If you are not on friendly terms with sleep maybe you should start looking the part.A great pure silk nightdress and robe will make your look witty, sanguine and sexy while getting all the needed recharge.I am in love with pure silk and fluffy blankets and I am sure they will always be part of my sleep outfit.Wearing: my Tota handmade silk nightdress, that was a beautiful gift from a beautiful soul and BHS silk robe.How many hours of sleep do you get daily? is it always enough?
