By Jhilmil D Saha @jhilmildsaha
"Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder".Such a resplendent phenomenal phase. Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder then why not outside the eyes and on the lids? There's a little creativity and art inside each one of us. The difference between them is described as "creativity is allowing oneself to make mistakes, art is knowing which one to keep"

I am talking about some art, some creativity and some makeup obviously which together molds the "eye-makeup art". Makeup arts are so trending nowadays with nail arts ruling hearts and lip arts reigning eyes. Then why not eye arts overshadow the makeup industry? There are mentions of eye-makeup art but its not so popular as it is quite a herculean delegate to design both of your eyes equally and perfectly. A lot of practice is needed as the saying goes "Practice makes man perfect" With the right practice, with right strokes and with the right colours you are sure to turn heads. When we start learning something, we start from the basics then slowly and gradually progress to the complicated steps- be it English or Math, be it dancing or singing, be it drawing or cooking. Whatever it is, it's very important to learn the basics and start from the simplest way. In this case, its also the same. Start simply and keep doing until you touch the sky. I'm going to give you some tips on how to exactly begin your "eye-makeup art"
1)Conceal: To get that flawless eyes you need to conceal. Use a corrector concealer that fits with your skin tone.
2)Prime: Priming your eyes is a very necessary step as it makes the color more vibrant and protects your makeup. You can use a white kohl or white eye-shadow as your base.
3)Colouring and shading: Pick colours of your choice from your favorite palette and blend them in one by one. Shade them as you want to. To make it look more artistic use eye-glitter on your colours.
4)Liner: Line your eyes perfectly. If you are a beginner then I would suggest using a felt-tip liner as I find it more handy and easy-to-use. If you are a pro on applying liner then the game is yours babe. First try creating the winged liner. Line your eyes according to the shape of your eyes. You can find many tutorials on how to get the perfect winged liner. Then transform your winged liner to unicorn wings then to butterfly then to a mermaid-tail and so on and so forth.
5)Lashes: Who doesn't love voluminous pair of lashes? Well, I do. To get that thick lash job you can apply fake lashes or you can simply curl your lashes and apply lots and lots of your favorite mascara.
Well, so here's a few tips to help you begin with your eye-makeup art and as you progress you can take it to the next level. For example you can blend colors to show the beautiful view of sunset on your eyes or a beautiful landscape.
"My eyes are an ocean where my dreams are reflected". Yes, so don't only reflect your dreams inside your eyes but as well as on your eyes. I hope you find these few basic tips useful. Go and be a creative eye-makeup artist and make beauty lie on the eyes of the beholder too.
