Peoples! If you are looking for affordable makeup then this post is for you! Last month, Rubi Shoes launched their Beauty by Rubi Shoes collection and I was super-duper lucky to have been invited to the launch. The beauty collection ranges from lipsticks to makeup wipes and everything is under $15. If only when I was a student, we had more affordable brands like this out there. During the event, everyone was crowding around the beauty stand and I managed to squeeze myself through and snapped this photo. We were also treated to a complimentary manicure from I Scream Nail using the new Rubi Shoes nail polishes. Unfortunately, the line was too long and I left before I got the chance to get my nails done.
We were generously given a goodie bag with a range of beauty products from the collection to try at home.
Just a quick note, I’ve only swatched these products and haven’t had time to actually try it out so I’m not sure how well the products are. This post is more of a launch rather than review because I just wanted to show you what’s available from the collection. One item I did manage to try was the nail polish, but found it was quite sheer and streaky on my nails so that didn’t work out for me.
