10. Lancome Color Design Sensational Effects Lip Color in Posh Pink: This color is beautiful, pink but not sore to the eyes. The excellent staying power makes it a long wearing shade and the best thing is it can be worn for all occasion and looks great on all complexion.
9. Essence Waterproof Gel Eye Pencil in Urban Jungle: I love jewel toned Liners. When you are in a hurry and have to dress up glamorous it will give the needed glam quotient. This Eye Pencil from Essence brightens up the eyes and make you look wonderful.
8. Miss Claire Single Eye Shadows: For Rs.90, you cannot expect anything better. These shadows are pigmented and comes in a wide variety of colours, both cool ones and warm and sunny ones. Although I prefer the warm pinkish and orangish tones more, but really great buy.
7. Chambor Orosa Sculpting Eye Shadow in Rose Smoke: I love rose gold shades and this one is a perfect rose gold one with a cream finish that turns to a powdery one after comming in contact to the skin. The shade looks gorgeous and I simply love the finish.
6. Maybelline The Nudes Palette: This one is a clear winner The very first Nude/neutral shaodow palette in India. The shades are fit to create both eeryday and smoky makeup looks.
5. Faces It Kit: This kit is a very unique concept from Faces Cosmetics. I have the Glam Goddess version and it is with the one with golden based makeup and a neck piece.
4. Miss Claire Soft Matte Lip Cream in Shade 07: This is such an irresistible shade. It has all the qualities of a good matte colour-long lasting, pigmented and bright.
3. Smashbox Camera Ready CC Cream: I love base makeup products and I always invest on face makeup products. So, this year I invested on this CC Cream and thankfully it turned out to be one of my best purchases of the year,
2. Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Colour Eye Shadow in Golden Orchid: This is the first time that I have invested so much on Eye makeup. And this one is one of the most expensive purchases but no regrets. It gives an effect that an entire palette cannot give. The shade is a light bluish purple with golden particles and the effect on the eyes is awesome.
1. Faces Ultime Pro Matte Crayons: What an awesome range of colours this collection have. I liked the concept of the Starry mattes but loved the effect of the Pro Matte one on the lips. Long lasting, very pigmented, less transfer- It is undoubtedly the best buy of the year.
Overall, I must say, I am quite satisfied with my makeup purchase this year. Faces Cosmetics has stood out to be the steer clear winner, while Miss Claire also has been a pleasant surprise. This year I had found out several new makeup brands like Nelf, Miss Nails, Seduction Las Vegas and Stay Quirky. Hopefully, next year also proves to be a good one for makeup enthusiasts like us.
