At first glance I love the packaging - an easy and fun, squeezable tube that holds 35ml of product which in my opinion, is a good amount. Described as a 'complexion perfector', this base is marketed to be better for your skin than a BB cream as it assists in controlling oil and balances moisture, all to help you achieve a flawless base. Despite being a liquid formula, the product dries to a powder finish to create a matte complexion.
I decided to try out the third lightest shade (there is six altogether) which is 'light/medium' and although I thought it would be a tad too dark, once I had blended it into the skin with my Zoeva Buffer Brush the base had adjusted to my natural shade. The product applies well and is really easy to blend and buff into the skin, I suppose you could also use your fingers too if you prefer. On my skin, the product dries to a semi-matte finish and looked well for the first hour or so. Unfortunately, my skin is on the drier side which meant that after a while the product began to accentuate my dry patches.
If you have normal to oily skin this would be a great base for you - it has an amazing SPF of 35 too! However, I'd recommend that if you have dry skin you try a sample before you commit to buying the whole shabang. Let me know if you are a lover of BB creams and powder finished, I would love to know in the comments. Thanks for reading!
