London folk trio, Bear’s Den, write stories that you want to listen to on their recently released Agape EP. Fresh off of a tour opening for Daughter and Mumford and Sons’ Gentlemen of the Road tour, these boys are ones to keep on your radar. Listen to “Pompeii”, and it’s difficult to dismiss their tender lyrics and gentle acoustic plucks. Sufjan Stevens-esque in structure and sensitivity, this track does what is sometimes very challenging in our technology-driven and impatient society — strip a song to its roots and still sway the listener to take a few minutes and simply listen.
