Ranbir Kapoor starrer Barfi has surprised the trade and how. The film has almost(just few lakhs short) become the biggest opener for Ranbir Kapoor beating his previous best Raajneeti in six days. If a solo film is taken into consideration Barfi has already beaten Rockstar by huge margin. Overall in the first week alone the film is all set to collect around 60 Cr.
As we reported earlier, Vinayaka Chavithi festival has shown its effect and had helped the films collection big time. Barfi on Wednesday collected more that what it had on Monday and Tuesday. The word of mouth on the film is extraordinary and hence such big jump in collection says trade analysts. If the word of mouth remains this steady for another week, the film could very well be looking at reaching the 100 Cr mark at the box office.
