Everyone else becomes concerned until a trip to Weird Barbie (McKinnon) sends her on an adventure. She must go to the real world to bring the safety of Barbie Land. However, Ken (Gosling) joins her as his day is all about being noticed by Barbie.

Once they arrive in the real world, they discover the world is very different. Barbie must figure out who can help her, as Ken discovers he can be more than just a Beach Ken. However, they learn of the more dangerous side of the real world.

Verdict on Barbie

Barbie is a comedy following the residents of Barbie Land who start questioning their existence. It sees them travel to the real world for answers only to become shocked by what they discover. All leading to them needing to save their home.

This comedy took the world by storm, giving a big message about equality. It shows the difference between the two worlds and how both sides have a dominant sex, instead of being more open to accepting both. There is a message about living in peace with each other and creating a better world for everyone. The comedy works well and pokes fun at the real-world problems.
