As promised, here's the recipe for the Banana Chocolate Chip Ice Cream. It is the easiest ice cream I ever tried. I had been converting all my ripe bananas into Banana Bread until I craved something sweet and cool and creamy. I also wanted it to be less work and something that didn't require a million ingredients. Voila! Enter: Banana Ice Cream.
Below measurements give you about four scoops of ice cream. If you love bananas and chocolate chips, you are going to absolutely be obsessed with it like I am.
Ingredients
3 bananas, cut into coins and frozen½ cup dark chocolate chips
1 teaspoon vanilla
¼ cup milk, of choice
Instructions
- Cut bananas into coins and place in freezer in a sealable bag. Freeze overnight or until solid.- Place all ingredients into a food processor and blend until smooth.
- Pour contents into a loaf or small pan.
- Freeze one hour or until solid.
- Enjoy!
