{ Ballroom Magic }

Savile Club, LondonMy grandparents used to love to ballroom dance, and I love all those Audrey films with those beautiful (Haute Couture) evening dresses. You know the ones which flow out in all their glory from the waist and are naturally covered in layers and layers of tulle and sparkles, accessorised by a coupé of champagne, because that really is the only accessory you need plus a red lip. Anyhoo back to my photos and not my imagination wandering off … When my father joined the Savile Club (men can only join, tsssk) he told me about the ballroom. I had never actually properly seen it until now. I have mentioned “The Club” a few times on the blog | See HERE but on our last morning there, a couple of weeks ago when the sun was shining so brilliantly it was the perfect opportunity to step inside to their ballroom and snap a few photos. Just organising my Balmuir Scarf, clearly photo – blog ready. Clubs generally don’t have ballrooms, however The Savile does, and it’s utterly spectacular as you walk up the sweeping staircase.
