Balik, Kestane Or Süt Misir of Istanbul: the Food Choice is Yours

After a freezing cold cruise, nothing is better than balik (fish) and ekmek (bread) at Eminönü, Istanbul harbor.

Mix sour cabbage and peperoni together with the fried fish and the dinner is complete.

Or cross the Galata bridge and buy fresh fish (watch how red the gills are) at the market …

Grilled meat on the road is a delicious alternative.
