Bad is good. Bad is chic. Bad is the theme of today’s OOTD. This biker chic themed outfit is sure to bring out the bad a$$ in anybody. Motorcycle is not included.
The breakdown
Everything in today’s OOTD {Outfit of the Day} was bought on sale! Woot. The Rock and Republic Platforms were the highest priced item at $39. I grabbed them from Kohls. The red, faux leather moto vest was $14.99 (from Rainbow). And the faux leather snakeskin pants were $19.99. They were from JCPennys. As you can see in the video below, I had a lot of fun with this look.
Any Miami folks out there? The song that inspired this look is from female rapper Trina. It was perfect for this bad girl, bad biker chic OOTD. The name of the song is “Still the Baddest”. Trina was popular in the late 90s and early 2000s for her raunchy persona and bad gal lyrics. Sorta similar to the way Nicki Minaj is portrayed today.
Changing it up
You can wear a long sleeve shirt underneath the moto vest to make this outfit more “cold weather friendly”. You could also opt for a boot (even a thigh high boot). Adding a boot would make this look even edgier and bad-girl-ish. Yup, I just said that LOL.
Snug but it works
The look was exactly what I envisioned. The moto vest was a bit snug since I had to grab a smaller size. But it was workable.. Adding Covergirl Seduce lipstick and bold lashes sealed the deal here. I must say that little seduce lipstick is becoming one of my favorite go-to lippies.
