Thank you so much to everyone whocame to see me and the bears at the fair.Lots of bears found new homes and I had such a great catching upwith friend and fellow bearmakers.
This is me at my table. The photo was taken by Margit who was so kind to spendher sunday with me at the fair. I´ve gotten to know Margit throughsome of Mary Anns classes. It was so great to finally meet herand we had such a great time together.
The weather were with us in Londondespite the dark clouds
This wonderful old bread wagonis from Jamie Olivers new store Recipease in London.A very cool and great store.
After London we had a little stop on the way to the Lakesin Liverpool
and got to see some Beatles Story.
Arriving at the lakes on a beautiful sunny saturdaywe went straigh out on a drive with our hostsMarianne and Graeme. They showed us the most beautiful placesand we enjoyed it so much.
it turned out saturday was the only day with sun. After that we had showers on and off the rest of the time.but that´s okayeverything up there is still so beautiful.
The only art suppliers I brought with me on the trip wasmy moleskine journal and a little watercolor set.I´ve been wanting to learn journaling, drawing and painting for a whileand in between walks I got to practice a little
Here´s some of the drawings in my journal
I´m only just beginning to learn a little bitabout this and back home I´ve expanded my workroom to thethe dining room table to experimenting with some journaling.
working on my first page.I´m very curious about where this new adventure will lead me.
Even though I´ve started working with drawings and journalingI´ll still be making bears - no worries about that.
A few bears came home with me from the fairand they will be listed on my website later this week.I haven´t decided when, so you´ll have to sign up on mymailing list if you need to be notified straigh away.
I will be doing a post here too, when they are up.
Thank you so much for stopping by today.I hope to post more about my journaling adventureas it goes along.
Wishing you all a wonderful fall day
