I'm excited about this, mostly because I'd like to trade-in my 5 years old infant car seat for a new one. It saves me from throwing out the old seat, plus it saves me money when I want to purchase the new seat.
Why not just sell the old seat? Well, you know that with expiration dates on car seats, it is a little unethical for me to sell it to someone else, even though I know it was well taken care of and not in a car accident. Why not just keep and use the old seat? It's a bit bigger than I'd like, especially when I have to fit it between a forward facing car seat and a booster seat in a smaller vehicle than the one I had a few months ago...
This is a pretty good deal from Babies R' Us. We used a coupon from a trade-in event a few years ago to get a Baby Trend Sit-N-Stand double stroller after the birth of our second baby. It was worth it!
If you have an old or used baby item, bring it to the trade-in event! Keep in mind one thing though: the coupon needs to be used that day, and there are some restrictions. Do some window shopping prior to trading in so that you know exactly what you'd like to purchase with the coupon.
