AXIS-Y Complete No-Stress Physical Sunscreen Review

By Alyssa Martinez @ItsMariaAlyssa

Sunscreen is the best anti-aging. No matter what anti-aging serum you use, if you don't apply sunscreen every day, you're not really preventing your skin from premature aging caused by the sun's UV rays. However, those with sensitive or acne-prone skin have a hard time finding a good sunscreen that will suit their skin types. So scroll down to read my AXIS-Y Complete No-Stress Physical Sunscreen review, this product won't make their skin itchy or breakout.

WHAT IS IT?

AXIS-Y Complete No-Stress Physical Sunscreen is a Mugwort based sunscreen that protects the skin from UVA and UVB damage while providing the healing properties of skin-loving ingredients for every day, no-stress life. It calms and relieves skin from sun exposure and other irritations with no pore-clogging effect.

NOTABLE INGREDIENTS

Besides Mugwort, which has a high content of Vitamin E which is good for the skin and anti-inflammatory, this sunscreen also contains 2% Niacinamide which is both brightening and anti-aging. You can read its full ingredient analysis in Skin Carisma.

PERFORMANCE

APPLICATION: At the last stage of your skincare routine, evenly apply onto easily exposed areas of face.

SCENT: This is unscented but it still has that generic physical sunscreen smell.

PACKAGING: It comes in a 50ml tube with a really pointy tip which I like because it's so easy to dispense the product. Not too much, not too little.

TEXTURE & FORMULA: The AXIS-Y Complete No-Stress Physical Sunscreen has a creamy formula yet it feels light on the skin and easy to blend. It's not greasy and doesn't feel tacky.

MY EXPERIENCE

My skin often gets irritated with sunscreen, it turns itchy and red. That is why I'm so glad that this AXIS-Y Complete No-Stress Physical Sunscreen suits my sensitive skin. So yes, I will definitely purchase this when I ran out. But I'm not really totally surprised by this because mugwort-based products have always been good on my skin.

It's definitely no-stress because I have oily skin and this sunscreen feels light despite being creamy. And as I mentioned above, it's non-greasy and not tacky which is good for those with oily skin type. Especially if you live in a tropical humid country like mine.

This sunscreen does leave a white cast but I'm not sure if it is because of my anemia, but it looks a bit grey-ish on my skin.
