German industrial mechanic, Ulf Hoffmann has made this awesome robot that plays table tennis. He calls it UHTTR-1. The robot is equipped with a camera to detect the motions of the ping pong ball. The most amazing thing is that this robot doesn’t miss a single shot and it perfectly times its moves. The video is in German, but you don’t need any translation to understand the awesomeness of this creation.

I’m anxiously waiting for someone to start a Kickstarter project for this so I can bring this robot home and learn to play table tennis.
