It's hard to believe that Summer has come to an end, with that being said we had another successful month of Cooking Class.
This month I was only able to attend the 1st class of the month on the 13th. This was perfect because, I was VERY excited to have my blogger friend, Bridget [and Turner] at class as well. We had a small class which helped in letting everyone be in charge of one cooking station.
Our menu ended up being VERY rich in garlic. For real, garlic breath on the major! like WHOA! [but i didn't mind, i loooooooove garlic!] The food items for the night included; turkey meatball lettuce wraps, grilled steak quesadillas, a spinach & green bean dinner salad & the most different [but a class favorite] panzanella salad! Each dished incorporated the Wildtree product of the month; Herb Grilling Marinade.
I was SO proud of Bridget [she claims to be a super picky eater] but she could have fooled me. We had pretty large spread of unique foods and she tried everything at least once AND then some! Her little guy Turner was enjoying class as well, as we are all baby lovers so it was great having a little one there. He also shared with me, some of his cutest little giggles and smiles- ADORABLE!
I think the second class on the 21st went just as well, another small one but as Erika put it "so delicious!" I forgot to ask if there was as much garlic used the second time around or not!?
You can never leave class without dessert, so naturally, a from scratch banana ice cream was whipped up in the food processor! Served in a baked wonton cup and topped with caramel, chocolate chips and whipped cream, Y to the UUUUM!
Thanks to all that joined us yet again. We hope to see you for our last 'Hurrah of Summer' here in the month of September for classes on the 17th & 25th!
