Ares Armor is a gun store in National City in southern California, which has the support of the Oathkeepers, Sons of Liberty Riders, and Dr. Robert Newman, a non-partisan candidate for California governor.
For the past couple of weeks, the store was harassed by local and federal agents. So Ares Armor obtained a restraining order against any unlawful search and seizure of their store, inventory, and customer information.
Yesterday, March 15, 2014, a rally in support of the gun store had been planned to begin at 12 noon in front of the store.
At 11:50 am, federal ATF agents in riot gear raided the store, breaking through the front door, and seized merchandise and other material from the store.
ATF is the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives — a law enforcement organization within the U.S. Department of Justice.
