We all saw Frozen, the new Disney animated film, this evening. It features Norwegian royalty, including an ice queen with wintry powers, and warns about the perils of having a frozen heart. I felt like my whole approach to life was under attack and that everyone else in the family loved it. Well, I loved it myself, actually. Maybe the story is a little thin--a plot twist concerning the revelation that a prince's pursuit of a princess is mercenary feels like an on-the-run adjustment--but who cares? It's visually gaudy and the songs are great.
