At the End of May Where Will the Pirates Sit?

By Kipper @pghsportsforum
This month I’d like to focus on the players with the sticks and gloves.
These threads can serve as chronicle of events that shaped the 2013 PBC.
Injury is a huge factor in this department. It dictates the direction of the lineup. Walker and Snider return to full duty this weekend. Now, Tabata has an undetermined injury status.
Mister Obvious
The tremendous power coming from the catching position is way spectacular
Gaby, despite hitting .245, sits in a dead heat with Andrew for team RBI leader. He has ½ of the AB’s as Cutch.
This team looks like they can and –will-- hit enough homers to compete.
In April Marte was the best player in the lineup.
Jones, Snider and Sanchez complete a nice set of options for Hurdle.
Questions:
If Tabata goes on IR who gets the call up?
What happens if Andrew gets hot?
Can Andrew get hot?
At the end of May will the Pirates be hitting higher or lower than their current .243?
Is Marte the real deal or is the sample size too small?
