Taking us back in time to Victorian London, just in time for the The Industrial Revolution, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate tells the story of a street gang leader named Jacob Frye who’s fighting to liberate London from oppression.

For the first time in an Assassin’s Creed title, Syndicate includes a playable female character named Evie Frye. Players will get the ability to play as Evie throughout the game. Although, some mission will require to play as either character.

According to Ubisoft, Jacob Frye is more of a “hot head” and “rebellious”, while his twin sister is a “master of stealth.” Gamers will have to use the abilities of both characters to make it through the game.

Fans of the series can expect an all-new experience with Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, where there is no more sword wielding enemies. Instead, you’ll be facing more dangerous enemies who roam the streets with concealed weapons. The game also features a set of new weapons, including brass knuckles, a kukri knife, a revolver and, of course, the Assassin’s gauntlet.

“The ability to lead an underground gang, commandeer any vehicle on hand and use modern tools to take on an expansive and fast-paced Victorian London sets this game apart,” said Marc-Alexis Côté, Creative Director at Ubisoft. “Assassin’s Creed Syndicate has been in development for more than two years and this new modern take on the living open world will please Assassin’s Creed fans and newcomers alike.”
