It’s Armchair BEA week! This is for bloggers who aren’t attending the actual Book Expo America in New York this week.

This post is the first post in a series and it starts with an introduction. Regular readers, hope you don’t get bored.
- Please tell us a little bit about yourself: Who are you? How long have you been blogging? Why did you get into blogging? Where in the world are you blogging from?
I am Nishita from Bangalore, India and have been blogging off and on for about 8 years. I got into blogging for fun because all my friends were doing it, and it was something new and shiny.
It took me time to get into a groove and decide that the main focus will be on books. However, because I am like a tortoise when it comes to reading speed (compared to regular book bloggers), I include some other fun stuff going on in my life and in the lives of the littles – Snubnose (age 8) and Piglet (age 2). More stuff about us can be found here.
- Describe your blog in just one sentence. Then, list your social details — Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc. — so we can connect more online.
This is easy-peasy, lemon squeezy. My blog is about books, movies, restaurants, and everything under the sun. I like to keep it eclectic
.
I am all over the social media space. You can follow me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest. I would like to add Google Plus to this list, but I am completely clueless about how G+ works.
- What does your favorite/ideal reading space look like? (Pinterest encouraged!)
In one word. This.

My definition of reading bliss
- What is your favorite blogging resource?
Is that even a question? Goodreads hands down. If I don’t find something there (which is rare), Amazon always obliges. To look up additional information about stuff I read in a book, I love to use Wikipedia.
- Spread the love by naming your favorite blogs/bloggers (doesn’t necessarily have to be book blogs/bloggers).
Last year many of my favorite bloggers shut down shop
, but never fear, I was able to find some new (rather new to me) ones to follow too. Some new blogs I discovered last year and love to follow are Words for Worms, Fourth Street Review, Wensend, Books Keep Me Sane, and The Bookshelf of Emily J (although I’m terrible at commenting on all of them
.
So that’s my introductory post. Who else is doing Armchair (or live!) BEA this week?
