The Rally returns to Hamilton this summer when Arkells and special guests visit Tim Hortons Field on Saturday, June 20, 2020.
With the help of friend of the band and NBA Champion and All-Star head coach, Nick Nurse, the band announced The Rally on Friday morning. The video clip is fun, funny, and starts a four-month countdown to the summer night of music at the home of the Tiger-Cats.
The hometown heroes last held The Rally in 2018 and played Budweiser Stage in Toronto in both 2017 and 2019. And if we continue to get a Hamilton/Toronto back and forth every summer, we're going to be 100% okay with it.

If you haven't heard the music of any of the openers, we'll first tell you that Arkells have wonderful taste in music (previous openers we've seen include Judah & The Lion, July Talk, Said The Whale, COIN, and Bonjay) and then we'd tell you to scroll down and hit play on the playlist we made that includes Arkells and all three openers for The Rally.
The timing of The Rally announcement is also fun because Arkells fans are still basking in the glow of their new single, Years In The Making.
When the bois said there was news coming, we asked Twitter what they thought it might be. A lot of people said a new song, but a lot of people said a concert announcement for Toronto or Hamilton too. It looks like everyone who answered those two options ended up being right!

Verified Fan pre-sale: Tuesday, March 3, 10 AM // Public on-sale: Thursday, March 5, 10 AM. And if you want that pre-sale information (of course you do x2)
Sadly, we weren't at The Rally in 2018. But we've seen Arkells at the CNE, WayHome, Bud Stage, at the arena in Oshawa, and Trish even saw the band tear it up at The Troubadour in LA! So when we tell you that it's going to be fun, we hope you trust us. When we tell you that Arkells have yet to steer us in the wrong direction, we're being honest.
And when we tell you that sometimes you'll get to see something amazing, like Nick Nurse on guitar - we can prove it.
