The boiler was in Watford Road, Wembley, Middlesex. The Boiler was located in the new loft conversion. This boiler was wired up to heat a Ariston unvented cylinder as well. So it was satisfying 3 demands. The domestic hot water , heating and unvented cylinder demand via 2 channel Salas programmer. Upon receiving a demand signal, the boiler starts the ignition cycle, and I could hear the pump and fan running, but the burner did not come on. Instead a faulty code was displayed with the yellow LED. according to the manufactures instruction it was ” TEMPORARY SHUTDOWN DUE TO DIFFECTIVE DISCHARGE OF EXHAUST FUMES” The faulty part was identified and the boiler was repaired.
