Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, the producer who brought us the Boy Is Mine, has paired the “Bang Bang” collaborators Jessie J and Ariana Grande up for a remake that will appear on his 20th anniversary album in 2015.
“Next year is my 20-year anniversary and I’m doing a very special project. Some originals as well as reimagined hits,” Jerkins told HITS Daily Double. “So for example, I’ll do the ‘The Boy Is Mine’ with Ariana and Jessie J.” I have mixed feeling about the song being redone. How do y’all feel?
