It’s a slow day for me, so I guess I can give you some news about Ariana Grande and her new boyfriend. Ariana Grande made some not so nice comments about America over the weekend. The up and coming star and her new boyfriend, dancer Ricky Alvarez, were seen licking donuts off the counter at Wolfee Donuts in Lake Elsinore, Calif. over the weekend. I know that gross as isht. “What the fuck is that? I hate Americans. I hate America. That’s disgusting,” says Ariana when a tray of donuts is placed in front of her. Granted I don’t eat donuts, but its not going to make me go off like that. After the video went viral, Ariana Grandehas decided to issue a lengthy apology for her actions. Check it out below.
“I am EXTREMELY proud to be an American and I’ve always made it clear that I love my country,” she wrote. “What I said in a private moment with my friend, who was buying the donuts, was taken out of context and I am sorry for not using more discretion with my choice of words.”
Ariana is stating the main reason for her outburst was on Americans’ consumption of unhealthy food. “As an advocate for healthy eating, food is very important to me and I sometimes get upset by how freely we as Americans consume things without giving any thought to the consequences that it has on our health and society as a whole,” she said. “The fact that the United States has the highest child obesity rate in the world frustrates me. We need to do more to educate ourselves and our children about the dangers of overeating and the poison that we put into our bodies. In my opinion I don’t think its a reason to go off like that.
