Argos, one of the biggest retailers in the UK  has unveiled their first-ever Android device, “MyTablet”  a 7-inch Android Jelly Bean tablet specially made for kids. The company hopes to make more sales in this holiday season with this small tablet by targeting mid-range consumers with a cheap £99.99 ($160)  price tag.

Argos MyTablet is not only great for kids, but it’s also good for grownups because it comes packed with a 1.6GHz dual-core processor, 7-inch LCD display with 1024 x 600 resolution, 8GB of internal memory, and runs on Android 4.2.2.

According to The Telegraph, Argos is aiming to challenge its’ rival company, Tesco which also introduced a new tablet last month. Although, it seems like the bulky design in MyTablet won’t be helpful in the tablet battle.

Tesco  Hudl tablet is also a 7-inch device and it costs £119, but it also has 16GB of storage. So, the battle isn’t going to be easy. Then again, there are much better and powerful tabs out there at more affordable price like the Google’s Nexus and Amazon’s new Kindle Fire.
