Seriously my washing pile reproduces I am sure. With 6 kids it’s impossible to keep up to with all the laundry and ironing. If I do it once a week this pile amounts as you can see in the picture and I am filled with dread looking at it.
I wonder how some mums houses look so neat and tidy, I spend hours running around after these little terrors and still the only times its nice and tidy is when they are sleeping or at school.
When it comes to ironing it’s one of my pet hates as I know after I have stood for hours ironing every single item and yes I iron boxer shorts, vests and bedding and towels too, and unless I put it all away the kids will just throw it on their beds and leave it there.
The most annoying is when a day later I see half the ironing pile in the wash basket again, they could not have possibly worn all those clothes.
I have friends who enjoy ironing, are they for real? I bet they would not be so happy to iron if they saw my pile.
I am going to have to get into the habit of washing and then ironing daily rather than leave it a few days as it starts to take over my kitchen.
I keep looking around for an empty cupboard to shove it all in but I don’t have one.

I do not mind washing out the dirty bath or even scrubbing the toiler, but ironing, I find a chore.
Not only does it take me forever I then have to put it all away and yes I am known for my organising skills.
All my kids have shelving and clothes have to be put away a certain way. Yes I am a clothing freak ha.

Are you organised with clothes? I think it makes perfect sense. I know exactly where everything is and it means the younger kids can choose their own outfits too. All they need to do is pick an item from each shelf.
So I guess my evening will be taken up from ironing.
