By Allyson3james

Overview:

For cosmetic surgery you should be healthy, should have reasonable expectations and you should know the risks of the procedure. People who are obese, smoke or drink too much of alcohol may not be a good candidate for cosmetic surgery. In this case your surgeon may ask you to make some changes before surgery like: he may ask you to quit smoking for two to four weeks before and after surgery. This can give you a chance to heal properly. Planning cosmetic surgery in India is very affordable.

Making the Decision to Have Cosmetic Surgery:

Planning for a cosmetic surgery itself is a big decision. Before deciding for a cosmetic surgery one should ask these questions to themselves;

  • Can surgery really give me the look I want?
  • Am I expecting surgery to improve my social skills or job prospects?
  • Am I expecting the surgery to improve my relationship?
  • Am I considering cosmetic surgery for myself or to please someone else?
  • Am I expecting the surgery to change my life as well as my appearance?
  • How long have I thought about this surgery?
  • Did anything specific set off this desire?
  • What is my current life situation?
  • Why am I thinking about surgery now?
  • Are there other ways I can achieve the results I want?

One should not think that cosmetic surgery will help you to improve your relationship, social situations or work as it may go wrong.

Chin implant: You can plan to have a chin implant if you have a weak chin or your chin is not balanced with your nose. If you have an abnormal dental bite and require jaw realignment, then you are not a good candidate for chin implant. You should be able to accept the risk that can come along with the surgery like: implant could become infected, it can be rejected by your body, or it can shift to an abnormal position requiring more surgery.

Facial Implants: For this surgery your skin should be elastic and flexible and you should not be overweight. The risk in this surgery includes skin loss, scarring, numbness, partial facial paralysis etc.

Nasal surgery: You can go in for a nose job if your nose is large, crooked that is droopy or has a bump. If you have thick skin, or you are a child, or play contact sports then you are not eligible for a nose surgery. There is 15% to 20% possibility that additional surgery may be needed for best results.

Eyelid surgery: You can plan eyelid surgery if you have droopy eyelids, bags, or puffiness around your eyes. You cannot plan eyelid surgery for reasons like dark circles, fine lines, or crow’s feet. One must accept the risk of blindness which is rare, dry eyes, visible scars, and eyelid pulling which can cause eye irritation.

Final Verdict:

Yes, anyone can plan a cosmetic surgery but with the acceptance of its risks. There are rare chances that the surgery may go wrong. The surgery or the implant should be accepted by your body then only the implant will give fruitful result. Before going for a cosmetic surgery one must take a suggestion from a councillor or the surgeon itself. So that you are clear with your expectation with the surgery. You should clear all your doubts before you go under the knife to avoid further complication. If you wish to undergo this surgery for yourself, and to make yourself beautiful for yourself then you should go in for a counseling first and after that draw a conclusion. Because after the surgery you cannot expect everything to function naturally.
