Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava a Revisit

By Prakash Parasuraman @aniseprakash

Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava saw NTR Jr and Trivikram Srinivas collaborate for the first time for a movie. This very fact generated a lot of buzz before the movie's release. Even after its release, a lot of praise was given to both of them, for their career-best work. However, in this article, we shall be focussing on the impressive performances by supporting actors in the movie. Being a movie with a different take on factionism, the movie featured a rich collection of characters that shared the limelight with NTR Jr in many key scenes. Here are some of those powerful scenes that deserve a #throwback.

The movie stars with Neelambari (Subhalekha Sudhakar) and Sudarshan (Sunil) sitting at a tea stall at night. Filled with an eerie vibe, a conversation about ghosts and Lord Anjaneya leads to a haunting flashback explaining the faction rivalry between two villages, Kommaddi and Nallagudi. The way the entire scene plays out is very interesting. Apart from the the initial giggles (thanks to Sudarshan), the scenes see comic actors take on a serious look that works to their advantage. As Neelambari's voice plays and explains the factionist rivalry, the eerie vibe of the introduction continues and sets the central conflict of the movie effectively.

Conversation with Grandma

In this entire scene, we do not hear Veera Raghava (NTR Jr.) utter a single word, it is his grandma (Supriya Pathak) who is the only one speaking. Through this scene, she explains how Raghava's parents got married and how his father got busy with his village's issues. But throughout this story, one thing was evident. The fact that how lonely Raghava's mother got in the process. But the biggest impact the scene creates is when his grandma explains the difference of factionism in different generations. That one dialogue becomes one of the highlight moments of the entire film.

At the Minister's office

Rao Ramesh is an actor who can get into the skin of whichever character he picks. With minister Krishna Reddy too, he was able to pull off the same. While earlier in the movie, he does come across a character with strong grey shades, his performance in the scene where Raghava comes to visit him at his office changes things. From anger, frustration, helplessness to eventually fear, Rao Ramesh is able to pull off a range of emotions opposite the talented Young Tiger.

While most remember this point in the movie to features one of the kickass action sequences in the movie, but what follows later is more interesting. I am talking about the part where Bala Reddy (Naveen Chandra) and Raghava Reddy discuss the rivalry between the villages. Though the tensions are high, both characters put forth valid points for their ancestors' actions. But the mood took a turn when it came to deciding the future? Will the rivalry and bloodshed continue? This scene beautifully answers the questions with Naveen Chandra and NTR Jr making the best use of Trivikram's powerful writing.

There's a lot more to the scenes I mentioned above and that is for you to explore. For that, we would highly highlight you watch Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava full movie online on ZEE5. It is an experience you shouldn't miss!
