Apple has rolled out a special new category full of apps for “Kids.” This section features apps “curated by Apple editors” suitable for kids up to 11 years old of age, from games to educational apps to kids TV shows.
Despite what others call it, this is not a stand-alone app store for “Kids.” It’s only a category in the Apple app store. Although, Apple has arranged the apps neatly, allowing kids to choose and install apps easily and has also banned apps from placing ads that ask kids to complete certain activities and directing to websites via links. Which means, parents can now safely allow their kids to install apps on this section.
