Candles? Of course. This alluring apple aroma performs perfectly in joy wax and wow wax, and is nice and strong in soy wax. The maximum usage percentage in vegetable and paraffin waxes is 10%. It is not gel wax compatible. Our coloring recommendations for this sweet spicy scent are to use 3 drops of burgundy, plus 3 drops red, plus one drop brown liquid candle dye per four pounds of wax. Or if you prefer to use color block, we suggest shredding ample amounts of burgundy, red, and cinnamon into your melted wax. Never color candles with crayon- it will clog your wick!
Soaps? Certainly. The maximum usage percentage of this bakery scent in soaps, bath oils, bath gels, and cleaning products is 1%. Cold process soap testing results show that this apple aura is ideal for CP soap: no acceleration; no separation; no ricing; good scent retention. The vanillin content of this freshly-baked fruit fragrance is 3%- so it may have the tendency to discolor your bath and body products. In fact, our cold process soap testing results found that it discolored soap to a very light tan color. If you wish to combat this- try our Vanilla White Color Stabilizer. It’s not a guarantee, but it may help. Ultimately, you are responsible for the results in your finished product. Anyway, we recommend coloring your bath and body products scented with Apple Crisp fragrance by using burgundy soap dye (on clearance!) in the amount that satisfies you. But in case we run out of that by the time you read this blog post, perhaps mix a little Red Oxide and Brown Oxide FUN soap colorant to create an apple cinnamon-y color.
Can I rub it on my body? Sure, if you make lotions or perfumes. The maximum recommended usage percentage in such applications is 0.5%- measure carefully. This fragrance performs perfectly in perfumes.
Can I rub it on the WORLD?! Uh.. sure. Just be responsible about it. The maximum recommended usage percentage for incense and potpourri is 50%. and this scent comes across nice and strong in aroma beads.
