Once upon a time, people used to be smarter and spent money on things that only matters the most like food and clothes. Now, it’s different. People are selling their organs to buy iPads and apparently they are also bidding on auctions to buy empty cardboard boxes. OH! the humanity.
You may already know that Microsoft’s new console, Xbox One is currently available at $499. Although it seems like some people are not fully aware of this fact as they seems to be bidding on eBay for an empty box of a limited edition Xbox One console. Right now there are several auctions on eBay that seems to be selling empty Xbox One boxes at highly expensive prices that goes beyond the cost of the actual console itself, as spotted by Reddit user Warjec.

Not sure if these people actually can’t read or if they are that desperate to get the special packaging, but it sure looks ridiculous to me. I can understand how gamers can get overwhelmed by a console to spend a few hundred dollars over it. But, the packaging? I really don’t understand.
