I wanted to try brands that I have never tried before. There are brands like Natio, Butter London, Wild Fern and Coloressence, that I had been looking for a while. So I settled on

My experience:
I had a smooth experience choosing the products. I loved the fact that there is an option of personalized recommendation after taking up a personal profile quiz. Since I wanted to purchase only makeup I did not really follow the recommendation. There are a lot of products to choose from. The surfing options are easy and user friendly. There are different ways to navigate based upon price, brand, product, categories etc. Payment option is also safe and secure with options of card payment, net banking, cash on delivery and voucher. The package came on time and every thing was packed perfectly. Each product was secure inside bubble wrapping.
Now was everything so smooth with my shopping from Aplava.com? Well, I had my share of some unpleasant experiences. Firstly while choosing the Coloressence H.D Eyedefiner Pencil Eyeshadow Pencil, I could not find any mention about the shade of the Eyeshadow pencil. The image provided was that of a pink one and I assumed that is the only option available and opted for it. But while I received the product I found it is a Turquoise shade. Secondly it is mentioned in the Home Page, that every purchase qualify the customer for a free sample. But I did not receive any. What I received is a discount voucher of Rs.300 for purchases worth Rs.1500.
So, overall, my experience with Aplava.com has been mixed. I liked the ease in shopping and variety of brands to choose for, but at the same time, the unpleasant experiences also were there, so I rate it a 4/5.
