Antipodean Beauties – Lashes

Happy Tuesday! There’s a new makeup challenge for Aussie and Kiwi bloggers called Antipodean Beauties. Basically each week there is a theme and you have to post a makeup look based on that theme. I’m a bit late to the party, this week is actually week number four. Challenge for this week is “Lashes”. I usually don’t wear falsies much because I wear glasses. For those who wear glasses would know that you can’t wear falsies with glasses because they get in the way. For this challenge I decided to whip out my contact lenses. The lashes I have picked for this challenge is the So Chic lashes from Kit. As you know I’m usually quite boring and won’t try anything that is too out there but since this is a makeup challenge, I have decided to be less boring

These lashes are so pretty and I love the quality and feel of them. I received these lashes in a goodie bag from one of the blogging events I attended a couple of months ago. They are really well made and they should last a minimum of 5 uses. So Chic is great for a night out or a costume party but it’s not really suitable for everyday as they are quite dramatic.
